Provided Cryptographic Support Provided cybersecurity engineering, data analysis, and analytic services and applied cryptographic knowledge services to the National Manager (NM). Worked independently and as part of a team in support of NM authorities and responsibilities outlined in National Security Memorandum-8 (NSM-8), directing and monitoring USG Department and Agency (USG DA) National Security Systems (NSS) implementation of Executive Order 14028 cybersecurity requirements & NSM-10 cryptographic risk mitigation, modernization, and transition planning to ensure quantum-resistant cryptography by 2035- Evaluated relevant NM directives and US Government and Department reporting templates, extracted template data fields, and derived reporting ‘asks’ & metrics to establish a supporting data dictionary and initial data model. Identified data inconsistencies and overlaps between reporting templates and reporting template shortfalls to enable holistic risk management and actionable risk mitigation insight.- Communicated identified template overlaps/inconsistencies and recommendations to streamline reporting and integrated process enhancements to leadership.- Consolidated available NM directives USG DAs’, consisting of 60+ organizations, structured and unstructured reporting extracting and consolidating response data into applicable directive dataset tables aligned to a common data model- enabling data completeness/quality analysis while reducing ad-hoc reporting response time from weeks to hours.- Fueled by ad-hoc reporting ‘asks’ and derived NM metrics, created NM Directive Excel analytic workbooks to enable near-term actionable senior leader insight and drive follow-on Power BI reporting use cases.- Demonstrated and recommended Power BI as a scalable alternative to optimize current efforts, expedite data integration, and improve collaborative analytics reporting.
