Clint Andre Samuel is a Virginia Beach based photographer and painter. As the Director of Pinacoteca for Visual Communication, his goal along with fellow Visual Artist James Thorn (CEO), is to provide an environment for Visual Artists to Create, Collaborate and Educate one another through various traditional and nontraditional avenues. Providing post institutional development and networking opportunities for visual artists of all skill levels and increasing the awareness of the Visual Arts by bringing together the communities of patrons, artists and educators. He owns and operates Samio Images, a visual arts company, which produces traditional and fine art photography, and original contemporary art. Samio Images strives to reveal the finest representations of every individual that come before the camera. His fine art photography and painting compositions are wrought from life experiences, the employment of color fields, minimalism and texture to convey attitudes and emotions through non-traditional and non-representational methods. He is inspired by the abstract expressionism movement.A 20 year veteran of the United States Navy, received an Associates’ Degree in Studio Arts from The Visual Arts Center at Tidewater Community College and Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Digital Photography from The Art Institute of Virginia Beach.
