After a successful period as a Construction Supervisor, I had been given the opportunity to manage the entirety of the construction division. This came with the complete responsibility of:- Staff management and employment and all HR requirements- Creating processes for new administration staff to assist with work loads- Overseeing all financial aspects of the construction division- Implementing time management systems- Creating monthly financial reports of combined works- Developing and managing a new maintenance division within the construction side of the business- Tendering and contract negotiations- Complete management of consistent construction projects- Maintenance operations management: pricing, procurement, scheduling- Scheduling and managing multiple construction and maintenance projects simultaneously- Personally design all aspects of landscape projects from commercial developments to high end childcare centre playgrounds- Developing great working relationships with contractors and clients alike to ensure all aspects of any project run with clear and open communication- Completing projects in time and on budget and having a reputation for doing so.- Monthly business coaching sessions

As a Construction Supervisor at FPM Landscapes, I was responsible for running a team of four labourers and approximately eight contracted companies to construct residential and commercial landscape projects. These included display homes, estate home contracts, fast food and service station projects and also working into the start of our childcare center playground endeavours. My role included meeting with clients, creating scopes of work, tendering, sales, hands on site construction, contract management, invoicing and site follow ups. I had also began monthly business coaching sessions to help develop and improve skills required to complete my job to the highest standard possible.
