Originally from Hong Kong, Clint Cheung is a graphic designer currently residing in Millbrae, California. He expects to graduate from the College of San Mateo with an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design in the fall of 2020. Cheung was named a winner in “Show Us Your Type: Chicago Edition,” an international design contest. Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography and illustration. When starting a new project, I meet with my clients to make sure that I understand the goals and objectives of each project clearly, so I can come up with an appropriate design solution. My design process includes researching the subject matter, brainstorming ideas and sketching them on paper. After I sketch ideas on paper, I then proceed to work on the computer. My inspiration comes from anime and video games. Eventually, I would like to design my own characters.
