Supported day-to-day training needs of employees globally, by facilitating and developing industry specific training courses.• Trained 300 new employees in 2 ½ months on a fully function training rig simulator for each winter season.• Trained over 700 employees annually for re-certification purposes as per training matrices.• Developed global competency training manuals for field positioned employees. The competency manuals ranged over 5 different field positions, requiring specific competencies per position.• Traveled to global destinations to facilitate Leadership Training in locations such as: Texas, Pennsylvania, Kuwait, and Canada.

Traveled extensively across Western Canada to deliver and implement HSE support to employees and drilling rig operations.• 80% of time spent travelling to various remote field locations endorsing company initiatives, safe work practices and OHS standards.• Managed 18 drilling rigs within the fleet focusing on coaching, educating, and training personnel to safe work practices.• Determined root cause analysis from incident investigations using Systematic Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT). Designed new safe work procedures to complete tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently from the conclusion of the incident investigation.• Organized and oversee on-site training activities to field personnel such as: Confined Space Training, Man-Down Rescues, Rescue from Heights, Loader and Aerial Work Platform Training, Safety Meeting Documentation and Facilitation, and Chemical Awareness with respirator fitting.

Propelled myself through the drilling rig hierarchy, learning and applying skills learned to managing people, maintaining equipment, and understanding of operational processes to maintain a safe workplace.• Positions held: Floorhand, Motorhand, and Derrickhand. Progressing up the ladder into different demanding positions as I developed my knowledge and understanding of each position.• Operated and maintain rig floor equipment and machinery such as: engines, pumps, wheel loaders, and aerial work platforms.• Performed duties such as: repair and maintain various equipment, set up and tear down equipment, perform specified outlined tasks, sometimes work at heights at over 90 feet, and worked in all weather conditions.• Regular housekeeping duties performed to eliminate risks and hazards to the work site; conducted routine hazard hunts to identify and rectify hazards.• Cultivated a recordable free incident career, by following outlined processes and holding crew members accountable to those processes.
