Administrative duties include but are not limited to Apparatus Maintenance Officer which entails scheduling all preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and procurement of all vehicles within the department. A large part of that assignment is the development of schedules for regular and NFPA required maintenance. I also develop the apparatus replacement schedule, set budgets for the replacements and write and request capital improvement projects for the fleet. Other assignments include the head of the fire investigation unit. We are responsible for the investigations of all fire that occur within the city. I am also a member of the city's OEM with a specific role in alert and warning. Show less
