Responsibilities include:• Unified Communication Service Manager, Solution Architect, Design and Deployment Engineer for Micron business requirements globally.• Unified Communications technology service management for over 40,000 end users. Audio/Video collaboration through Zoom coupled with Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing integrations and AudioCodes Session Boarder Controllers for Public Switched Telephone Network services.• The position responsibilities included all aspects of the infrastructure solution architecture, design, development, deployment, and management; Designing and deploying business critical solutions where service stability, quality, and security is paramount.Recently: Lead solution architect for transforming the Unified Communications environment in Micron from the existing Skype for Business on premises global deployment over to a global service using both Zoom and Microsoft Teams; the service was released to production eight weeks ahead of schedule and helped to enable the business to shift quickly to a work-from-home model in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Within 1 week of global deployment, Micron reached over 2 million audio/video minutes on the new service and 25,000 team members adopted the service.

At CompuNet I focused on helping customers with their Microsoft Skype for Business and Teams digital transformation journey; from Skype for Business Server on premises, to Skype for Business Online, and Microsoft Teams - to ensure customers receive their maximum return on investments by utilizing unified communications modalities available in each product to meet the business need. Prior to joining CompuNet in July of 2017, I worked at Hewlett Packard for 25 years, with recent experience as a Senior Microsoft Unified Communications Engineer designing, rolling out, and supporting HP’s global deployment of Skype for Business. Before working on internal projects at HP I worked in the HP Enterprise Services organization deploying Microsoft and supporting Fortune 50 companies.

The HP unified communication environment is one of the largest deployments based on Microsoft Skype for Business, with massive scale for all modalities. In a model of “plan, build, run”, my role is squarely in the plan phase, with some early portions of the build phase interspersed (for proof of concept tests and early adoption). I have a broad base of business and technical experience across all of the IT landscape, with depth in messaging and unified communication and collaboration. Within the HPE UC services currently, I focus a lot of time on the business needs for mobility and conference room video collaboration.
