Growing up and active in a service-oriented family business taught me a work ethic and importance to doing things right for both the customer and the company that would have been difficult to get any other way. On evenings and weekends when my friends were out having fun there were times when I was driving to an emergency service call. Looking back, those times were valuable experiences.Today I work hard to be part of an executive management team where I can use my experience to make significant contributions to the success of the organization, have opportunities to make a difference, and work with others at all levels of the organization who take pride in the work they do, the people they work with, and the team they are a part of.Over the past nearly 30 years I have gone from a freshly graduated electrical engineer to the technical executive of a mid-sized design and manufacturing company. Over those years I have had the opportunity to develop my skills and the pleasure of working with many other people and helping them to develop their personal skills. In business today I believe that it is the people that make the business successful. After all the people are the ones to develop the technology, put things together and most importantly satisfy their customers.Personally my experience started in board level design of control systems. My career then developed into management of engineers and building a technical group. This led to being responsible for software engineering, quality and document control. In addition to the technical responsibilities, I have been responsible for manufacturing and purchasing. With such a diverse set of responsibilities I have developed the ability to get teams of people who may think they have conflicting goals to work very well together with the goal of satisfying the customer.
