About Clint Middlemist
Growing up on a farm and ranch with over 150 head of cattle and 320 acres of alfalfa, I spent plenty of time fixing farm equipment and solving a large variety of problems. Because of this, I have always had a fascination with mechanical systems and a thirst for hard work. I have carried these values learned as a kid into my engineering career, appearing on the College of Engineering Dean's List 6 times throughout my undergraduate career thus far. Working in the Adaptive Robotics Lab, I have had the opportunity to work on a multitude of projects, from shape-morphing robots to self-sensing of Twisted and Coiled Actuators. Having the ability to refine my interpersonal skills as Marketing and Communications Chair of Presidential Ambassadors has provided me with countless valuable experiences.
