Following the successful acquisition of ConEdison's Clean Energy business ("CEB") in February 2023, RWE Renewables America's LLC, now combined with CEB, rebranded itself by changing its name to RWE Clean Energy LLC. With the acquisition came an increase in responsibilities and team members, as I continue to oversee all accounting, financial reporting, revenue reporting, technical accounting, financial due diligence for North and South American operations for RWE AG, a global utility based in Essen, Germany. Leading a team of approximately 70 professionals, I oversee timely and accurate presentation of the RWE AG's subsidiary results and support various teams across the organization including, Finance, M&A and Investment & Valuation. Responsible for all accounting, reporting and subsidiary integration for North and South American operations for RWE AG, a global utility based in Essen, Germany. In July 2018 following the acquisition of a large-scale wind generation development pipeline in the US, I was offered the opportunity of being seconded to the Chicago/Pittsburgh. Tasked with supporting integration with the US and European teams from an accounting perspective, as well as local integration with the current US team and the newly onboarded team. In addition, a large part of the role was geared towards the accounting teams development, while supporting them and the wider business on various accounting related topics in respect of all US projects.

Key deliverables were to provide transformational business partnering that aligns financial acumen and financial performance against industry and operational performance in relation to the UK Renewables Group financial reporting. Responsible for a portfolio of financial accounting and methodology improvement projects that deliver and sustain best in class industry benchmark. Maintain in-depth knowledge of financial and accounting practices and assure the best practice model underpinning financial reporting to improve quality and accuracy.

Managed all aspects of the UK renewables main operating company’s general ledger and its development and operating projects. Ensured the results of the UK Group were accurately reported to the Parent Company in Germany, within the required timeframes for their reporting basis. Supported all UK Group finance initiatives in delivering operational and cultural change, driving the renewables business to a class leading finance function and setting the industry benchmark. Provided support and training to the wider Accounting and Controlling team on interpretation and application of both International and UK Accounting standards, while ensuring treatment was consistent and harmonious with the Group directives.

Key responsibilities included preparation of quarterly management reporting packs for a variety of funds and clients. Understanding the clients' requirements, both through the review of client agreements and client interaction. Ensuring compliance with client agreements and delivery of a quality product and service. Preparation of monthly investment tracking reports, detailing subscriptions, redemptions and fund performances for multiple funds, with detailed analysis and commentary for the Managing Partner. Preparation of monthly cash flows reports and forecasts to support the dividend distribution.
