Clint launched Clint Small Custom Homes in 2012, after spending more than 6 years as a construction manager and superintendent with Brian Bailey Homes. Clint has received several awards for his work including Superintendent of the Year and Custom Home Builder of the Year. He also received the City of Austin Distinguished Service Award in 2010 for his work with the City of Austin and the Austin Home Builders Association.Clint’s diverse work background demonstrates a commitment to both customer and public service – traits he is also committed to outside of the office. He served eight years on the Austin Parks Board where he was appointed by two different mayors and also served two years on the Austin Planning Commission where he helped develop important renovation and development policies for Austin residents and builders. As stated in a 2010 Austin Business Journal article about Clint’s work on the Commission, “Clint polished his reputation as a consensus maker among various Austin community and business interests and was a “sterling example” of the progress city boards and commissions can make when members take time to learn about issues and seek compromise.” Clint also served as President of the Seton Forum.Clint currently serves on the PAC Board of the Austin Home Builders Association as well as serves on the Board of the Seton Fund, which raises significant funding for the Seton family of hospitals. Clint lives in Austin with his wife Allison and their two children, daughter Annie (10) and son Ed (8).
