-Served on board of directors of 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting civic education efforts throughout California.-Spearheaded volunteer efforts to provide hundreds of hours of civic education for interested students in the bay area.-Coordinated, organized, and taught dozens of no-cost workshops for students at a variety of venues and featuring dozens of volunteers.

S. Clinton Woods graduated from San Francisco State University with Honors, majoring in Political Science, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Hastings College of Law in 2006. Mr. Woods’ practice focus is consumer protection, employment, and antitrust, primarily in the class action context. Mr. Woods is an experienced trial lawyer who has personally handled hundreds of cases to successful resolution, and has provided effective counsel to plaintiffs in a broad range of practice areas. Highlights of his past work include recovering millions of dollars for class plaintiffs in a residential case in San Francisco, assisting with class certification in a nationwide class of gym customers, and successfully trying several cases to favorable verdicts.

-Handled hundreds of cases from inception through resolution, including acting as lead attorney on dozens of cases which proceeded to trial. Won multiple jury and bench trial verdicts.-Served as second chair on a class action trial which lasted 2+ months and resulted in a seven figure settlement for plaintiffs and the class. -Researched, wrote, and argued hundreds of dispositive motions in state and federal jurisdictions.-Skillfully negotiated advantageous settlements for clients in hundreds of cases across a variety of fields of litigation, including real estate, employment, contract, and business disputes. -Supervised and mentored the work product of multiple junior associates and support staff at a time.-Aggressively represented hundreds of satisfied clients.-Originated hundreds of thousands of dollars in billings for the firm.-Provided first-person expert interviews and sound-bytes for a variety of local, national, and international media outlets regarding a variety of legal issues, including: ESPN, NPR, Gawker, DeutcheWelle (Germany), The Recorder, Opzij! (Netherlands), KGO/ABC, NBC Bay Area, KKSF Radio, Re/code, Houston Chronicle.-Assisted in the testimony advocating for the successful 2015 enactment of AB 202, a law which classifies all professional cheerleaders in California as employees for labor code purposes.
