I provided consulting services for a variety of corporate, government, and non-profit organizations on strategic IT challenges. My consulting services included intrusion detection, eCommerce, database management, enterprise application management, corporate training, software training, leadership training, policy, budget, and project management.

I co-host, produced, and edited The Sunday Brunch with Matt and Dr. Marty podcast. The podcast covered news about technology, science, and medicine. This was a fun project to do with my friends and explore the world of podcasting (marketing, audio editing, advertising, and more). While it was a lot of fun, I had to take a break when my son was born.

I managed the daily operations of the Application Services Division of the City's IT Department in accordance with the organization’s values and objectives. I serve as project manager for large scale projects having organizational and community-wide implications. I participate in developing long range Information Technology goals and objectives. I participated in the development of the Information Technology Department's bi-annual budget and I'm responsible for the budget and programs associated with Application Services. I work to build successful working and IT support relationships across the organization as well as with external customers, partners, and vendors. I also review and analyze City programs, policy, operations and work with departments to develop technology strategies to address their current and future business needs.

The Information Services Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of various technology programs. This position manages critical technical services within a very progressive municipality providing a variety of services to City staff and the citizens of Fort Collins. I managed a team of individuals that was responsible for providing services through the organization’s IT Department. These services included database administration, eGovernment, land management, electronic document/content management systems, credit card processing services, and much more. I was also responsible for project management, communication, research and development, customer care, and extensive coordination with cross-organizational internal business clients, as well as various other IT divisions.

Promoted to the position to permanently manage the City's enterprise document/content management program and the program's staff. I also supported the enterprise credit card processing systems which are responsible for over 16 million in yearly transactions, as well as a diverse portfolio of other assorted enterprise applications. I worked to streamline processes and introduced standardization to the enterprise document/content management program. I managed and coordinated regular general user group meetings as well as a power user group committee for over 400 users. I managed a significant re-engineering and consolidation of the enterprise document/content management program in 2008. This re-engineering effort received an Innovation Award in 2009 for the projects success. Later I developed a certification program to teach users how to utilize the enterprise document/content management programs and other assorted interfaces. In 2010 the certification program was recognized with a Client Excellence award.

I provided administration and support of the Accela application suite including, but not limited to, daily start-up, shutdown and backup procedures, training, maintenance of reference documentation and basic support for user access and system use inquiries. I monitored, repaired, upgraded and evaluated the system to ensure system availability and adequate system performance levels. I regularly consulted with other City departments in the development of custom Accela functionality, data and reports to increase the effectiveness and productivity of their department and processes. I regularly consulted with other City departments to coordinate their access to data developed and maintained within Accela application. I developed applications using the Accela software, and other various Windows based products to further increase the effectiveness and productivity of system users and customers. I trained City staff on the use the Accela system. I also researched, evaluated, implemented, maintained and purchased system changes/upgrades to various systems. I also worked to acquire technical support from multiple hardware and software vendors as needed in order to support various systems at the City. I also worked on a variety of assignments/special projects in order to meet the needs of the City’s IT department and its customers.

Just Clint was a tech and leadership blog. My blog included content on a wide variety of topics including leadership, technology, product reviews, mobile app recommendations, strategic planning and yearly top 10 purchasing guides. My blog was sold in 2010.

As the E-commerce Director and head of the Business Development Center, I successfully led a multi-disciplinary team to drive online sales growth and enhance our digital presence. By implementing innovative marketing strategies, optimizing the user experience, and leveraging data analytics, I significantly increased revenue and customer engagement. I also oversaw the development and execution of key business initiatives, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to expand our market reach and ensure sustained business growth.

I was honored to be selected for an intern position at HP. During my time there I worked with an incredible team that helped develop the first generation of the HP Superdome. It was an unforgettable experience that taught me so much about server development.
