I joined GE Security as Product Market Manager for their lines of telematics and access control products targeting the consumer, commerical and industrial markets. Completed market analysis and outline for new marketing programs. GE Security was sold to United Technologies in 2008.

Product Marketing Manager for hosted Emergency Communications and Critical Event Management SaaS. Technologies included public safety and first responder communications, web site interface, wired and wireless communications marketed to DoD, Federal and state government agencies. I managed the relationship with out strategic partner AT&T Government Solutions, preparing and presenting sales training materials to various sales organizations, coordinating trade show and conference events, and sharing data and market information. I redesigned the web site, creating new content.

Atlanta, Ga

I was the chief Product Marketing Manager for Orchestrate, a unified communication service that included an integrated portal, email, contact manager, task manager, and conference calling feature. Telephone, fax and email messages could be accessed and managed from either the telephone or web-based platform. Orchestrate was officially launched in April 2001. I was the marketing interface to over 30 software engineers, providing detailed marketing specifications prior to, and after initial launch. I also supported customer service, providing on-line help content and pre-launch training sessions. The Orchestrate project was discontinued in 2001, as a result of the .com bomb.

Norcross, Ga

Product Manager for an automatic meter reading solution consisting of a line of rugged handheld computers and a database software program. I visited a variety of utilties, to understand how they were integrating automatic meter reading into their organizations, and worked with engineering and customer service to ensure a smooth product launch. Schlumberger exiting the meter business in 2000, to focus on their core business of Oil & Gas Exploration.

AER Energy Resoruces was a high tech start-up developing a new type of rechargeable battery targeting notebook computers. I led a cross-functional development team composed of manufacturing, engineering, customer support, and executive management. I identified the key criteria for product launch, coordinated both product development and marketing functions. I developed the product launch plan, which also became a key document in the successful IPO of the company. I also worked with top notebook computer vendors such as Toshiba and HP, to coordinate market efforts.

I was responsible for all aspects of product and marketing management, from the initiation of new product projects, to the development of the product launch plan, to the management of the advertising and PR campaigns.
