Working with the Reporting and Analytics for Restaurants (RAR) team to bring business insights to our Operators and their team members. Assists in maintaining the Analytics Hub front-end and back-end to ensure all reports visible to the Operators are accurate and up to date with the latest versions provided to us by the multiple business units throughout the organization.  Provide thoughtful insights to assist in improvements to our content management system tool Curator. Responsible for migrating Tableau dashboards from our development environment to our prod environment to ensure all updates to the Analytics Hub are made in a timely manner to better serve our Operator’s data / insight needs. Responsible for building and adjusting current data feeds within our ThoughtSpot environments to assist in accurate ad hoc reporting options for our Operators and their teams.  Heavily involved in the regression testing processes used to upgrade our Curator environment. This is to ensure all new features and functionality within our content management system are available for use to provide a better user experience for our Operators and their team members.  Responsible for data pipeline development within our RAR dbt environment to provide curated data ready for Tableau. Setup work for project locations and permissions within Tableau Server. These projects allow functional access to the consumers of created dashboard solutions that are displayed within the Analytics Hub.

Hired to develop complex T/SQL scripts, SSIS, Informatica Processes used in moving and transforming data to all utilized systems. The processes that me and my team implement are utilized in all reporting efforts for the policy and claims side of the business at West Bend Mutual.  Provide data to needed reporting channels through the creation of SSIS and Informatica processes. Participate in PI Planning events to assist in prioritization of quarterly efforts within our Agile environment. Assisted in epic and story creation for multiple data pipeline projects to ensure agile principles were being met and tracked.  Improved custom SSIS and Informatica processes by assisting with data validation improvements and transformations.

Founded company to perform boundary and topographic surveys to licensed surveyors. Utilize UAS drone and GPS surveying equipment to build surface models for civil engineers. Capture drone footage for real estate companies in alignment with image specifications. Secured and completed 59 projects for multiple various surveyors in less than 2-years. Applied project management principles to align customer needs with land surveying services. Tapped to build surface models on four (4) large projects using UAS drone and GPS surveying equipment for civil engineers. Performed 100’s of line clearing projects, including light tractor and loader work to assist homeowners in determining property boundaries, all validated with licensed Professional Surveyors for 100% accuracy. Used a Phantom 4 drone, homemade ground targets, a Lecia GPS rover, and 3D-survey software to capture contours of an 86-acre site in just 6-hours and delivered 2ft contours in proper format, saving client 6+ days of manual labor.

Hired to develop complex PL/SQL scripts used in building views, stored procedures, and tables in QA, UAT, and Production data-warehouses and data-marts. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously alongside (6)-member agile team. Provide source date to the Qlik Development team for the build out of executive dashboards that drive business decisions. Improved project tracking of epics, stories, and spikes during the development process by authoring Jira tickets that are effective for use in ETL and BI systems within QA, UAT, and production environments. Reduced weekend maintenance validation process from 3+ hours to <1-hour by introducing validation checklist to ensure all systems are online and functioning properly after server maintenance is completed which ensures data integrity. Spearheaded new insurance company acquisition data migration – Wrote ETL to connect data points, mapped data into existing data tables using PL/SQL and Pentaho ETL tool, creating nightly automated executive dashboard data updates. Authored company’s first-ever data refresh technical documentation for operations processes, standardizing refresh procedures and methods which allowed consistent performance of data refreshes.

Promoted to load test data into the Meter Inventory Tracking system’s Oracle Database and to build data extraction models from the MIT system using FME to use in Power BI dashboard reports which drove business decisions of senior management and stakeholders. Captured test data to determine accuracy of newly purchased meters scheduled for in-field install for commercial power consumption, facilitating proper specs and settings necessary for capturing usage rates for accurate billing. Hand-selected to build several ETL processes using FME and ETL techniques that pulled flat file data into SQL server databases that connected to Power BI which enabled usable tracking dashboards. One of 100 selected and trained as a Drone Pilot on the power restoration team.

Promoted to create ETL processes and dashboards for project visualization using data sources that included SQL Server, Oracle databases, and comma-delimited data. Maintained customization requests for the Land Information Management System (LIMS). Tracked and maintained software installs and upgrades for 450+ machines for land acquisition, land management, land engineering, and field surveyors. Translated data from inhouse project tracking application using Power BI, eliminating unbalanced task assignments while increasing team productivity by 60%. Worked with development team to ensure internal project tracking application bugs and enhancements were being addressed in a timely manner to keep the system running smoothly. This work also assisted in the site cleanup effort to ensure the user experience was keep at the forefront of new features and enhancements to the product.  Saved the GIS and Technology group 20+ hours per month in inventory tracking time through an inventory audit and first-ever SharePoint tracking list and Power Apps which enabled mobile device inventory management in real-time.

Managed complex technology projects and introduced innovative solutions and SOPs for 600-member customer care call center. Implemented digital signage platform for customer care center, saving 100+ hours per quarter and 100GB+ of disk space. Saved company $50K in upfront costs by building analytics dashboard using Power Pivot in Excel and SharePoint. Researched software packages (Tableau & Power BI) to determine best fit for research projects. Reduced dropped calls by 30% and wait times from 6+ minutes to <2-minutes by optimizing voice recognition software. Spearheaded website cleanup project to minimize page count by 50% to improve the user experience, introduced tracking and internal linking to save 4 FTE hours daily for Analysts.

Assisted Engineers with GIS background updates and posting finished distribution jobs, served providing maps and power line information during storm support efforts for 50+ personnel in metro south region, and improved meter locations for customer linking initiative. Improved personnel workload assignments and reduced redundancies by introducing process improvements that included data checks on meter location mismatches. Created usable circuit, wall, and one-line maps utilizing backend data sources for regional design and restoration efforts.
