• Managed a team of 20+ IT and Facilities professionals for HEAT Software, an IT Service and Endpoint Security Management SaaS company, headquartered in Milpitas, CA.• Heavily involved in the project to integrate the IT applications for the two companies (FrontRange Solutions and Lumension Security) which were merged to form HEAT Software in Feb. 2015. Applications include: Salesforce, NetSuite, and Marketo.• Also involved in the integration of two Absolute Software products (Absolute Manage and Absolute Service) into HEAT.

• Managed a 1-year NetSuite implementation project for Sensity Systems, a startup based in Sunnyvale, CA.• Successfully facilitated the transition from Quick Books to NetSuite, implementing core financials, support for Manufacturing Operations, and integrations to Agile (PLM application), Bill.com and AvaTax.• Replaced Salesforce with NetSuite CRM for the Field Sales organization, providing support for the Lead to Order process.• Implemented a custom NetSuite solution for the Customer Support organization, which included functionality for Case Management, Contracts Management, Install Base, Warranty Tracking and Return Material Authorization.• Instituted Cycle Counting using NetSuite.• Performed the vendor selection for an external MRP package and managed the integration effort.• NetSuite skills: application administration (including user setup and roles / permissions maintenance), custom form / record / field / list development, saved search / report / dashboard development, workflow development.

• Provided support for internal business applications and customer-facing SaaS applications, and their associated private cloud infrastructure.• Assisted in the vendor selection and implementation of a cloud-based financials package (Intacct), replacing Oracle ERP E-Business Suite.• Performed the vendor / package evaluations, to migrate from Interactive Intelligence to LiveOps, a cloud-based contact center application.• Implemented Disaster Recovery for the SaaS applications using Amazon Web Services.• Implemented a Business Continuity Plan for the geographically dispersed company locations.• Refreshed much of the aging infrastructure, and renewed hardware / software support, which had lapsed.• Responsible for the successful completion of the annual Payment Card Industry (PCI) and SOX compliance audits.• Assumed management of the e-Commerce Engineering team following a November 2013 reduction in force.

- Following acquisition of Basic Chemical Solutions (BCS) by Univar in Dec. 2010, co-led the IT Integration effort, with a primary focus on migrating to Univar’s ERP application.- Responsible for supporting legacy BCS users / applications / infrastructure, while actively working to migrate to the Univar applications / infrastructure platform.- Downsized the legacy BCS IT organization from 8 to 3 in Dec. 2011, assisting the 5 targeted employees with resume preparation and job placement coaching.- Managed a five person Univar Tier 2 IT Support team on an interim basis, in addition to managing the legacy BCS IT staff.- Project managed two Univar global initiatives (EVault PC Backup and Verismic PowerManager), both targeting 6600 PCs.

- Managed the company’s global IT operations and a staff of 7 IT professionals comprised of Infrastructure and Applications teams.- Initially hired to prepare a 3-year IT Strategic Plan; subsequently, implemented virtually all elements of this Plan, during which time the company grew from $250M to $750M.- Managed an extensive IT infrastructure consisting of 50+ Dell PowerEdge servers (both VMware and physical), 275 Dell PCs, IP Telephony and PBX phone systems, MPLS network, Cisco firewalls / routers / switches, NetApp SAN, and 125 Blackberrys.- Managed an application suite consisting of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ILOG-based Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, Outlook / Exchange, and Livelink ECM.
