Current* Provided primary management functions for a small format banking center in the Medical Center / West University area with a high degree of independence, as the Financial Center Manager was based at another financial center 4 miles away.* Served as primary banker and primary teller, as well as manager, on days with limited staffing.* Partnered with lending team and neighboring branches to overcome limited staffing and ensure sufficient dual control functionality on every business day.* Implemented procedural improvements to remediate audit findings dating back to before my hiring.* Uncovered and referred opportunities to partners for commercial loans, merchant services, Treasury services, small business loans, and mortgages.* Provided management coverage to River Oaks Financial Center during interim period when Financial Center Manager was promoted and replacement hiring was underway.* Utilized membership in networking organizations, service organizations, and local management districts to develop business outside of the financial center.* Provided excellent service to existing clientele, deepening existing relationships while also generating referrals from their friends and family members.* Adapted existing operations in the financial center to better follow the established policies and procedures of the bank as a whole.* Took loan applications and collected supplemental documentation for underwriting, as well as closing loans for customers.* Provided coverage for lending assistants, including closing commercial loans, providing loan-related documentation, providing Treasury Services agreements, etc. as necessary.* Oversaw a series of on-site improvements to financial center, including security refresh, camera refresh, network upgrade, communications upgrade, and HVAC improvements.* Built upon targeted marketing efforts to schedule appointments for new accounts, leading to the top percentage deposit growth in the bank in 2023.
