Ensures highest level of combat readiness is maintained to fulfill global tactical airlift & airdrop mission taskings- Responsible to the ops officer on factors adversely affecting combat capability & recommends appropriate action- Develops & recommends improvements regarding aircraft weapon system employment tactics & aircraft operations- Ensures 80 assigned pilots are properly trained & prepared for combat/worldwide unit deployments on short notice

Instructor Pilot for student trainees for USAF Pilot Training.-Monitor student training syllabus and oversee progress for classes of up to 30 persons.-Supervise 15 other IPs to ensure production of world's best aviators.-Investigate mishaps involving Command assigned aircraft and disseminate safety info to all aircrew.
