Support role at Qavah Earth, a firm specialising in helping develop climate change adaptation and mitigation projects. QE supports international agencies, national governments, and NGOs in accessing climate funding through mechanisms such as the Global Environment Facility (GEF), Green Climate Fund (GCF), Adaptation Fund (AF), and other bi- and multi-lateral funds. My role includes support work in developing Climate Vulnerability Profiles (CVP), Pre-feasibility Studies (PFS), Concept Notes (CN), PIFs, Interim Evaluations, GIST development, and Audit Trails. Project concepts include Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM), Integrated Catchment Management (ICM), WEFE nexus, WASH, PES, EbA, GESI and more. I have worked on projects for QE in multiple countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, The Caribbean, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). QE was established in 2021 as an international one-man consultancy in 2021 and has since grown to 5 permanent staff and several associates based within and outside South Africa. We specialise in preparing, implementing and evaluating climate change (adaptation and mitigation) projects across the developing world.
