Led the team responsible for updating tax revenue models and tax forecasts for the MTBPS and Budget Review and revenue analysis in the absence of a permanent senior manager. Notable projects include leading a research project reviewing tax revenue forecast models and proposing new models for inclusion, project managing and implementing a DSGE capacity building plan, co-authoring Chapter 2 of the 2022 MTBPS and 2023 Budget Review, actively participating and other times leading technical engagements with external stakeholders on the economic outlook. Provide support, guidance and help lead economists in the unit. In addition, support the Chief Director of the unit to ensure unit stability and assume additional management responsibilities as an acting manager to support the unit in the absence of permanent senior manager placements.

Updating and maintaining small macro-econometric models for quarterly forecasts and the macroeconomic models. Participate in the forecast process, including the forecast assumptions. Provide timely macroeconomic forecasts, which include analysis of the global and domestic economy and scenarios. Provide tax forecasts for the six major revenue streams. Formulate technical responses to requests for the MTBPS and Budget Review inputs. Involvement in internal and external stakeholder engagements. Provide support and guidance to the junior members of the team and manage economists in the unit.

Developed a national negotiation framework strategy for the review of the 2002 SACU Agreement. Established an internal technical task team to consolidate a Treasury position on the comprehensive review of the 2002 SACU Agreement. Developed a national position paper on a SACU stabilisation fund. Developed a research paper on the Common Monetary Area. Actively support the Secretariat with sound corporate governance and financial management. Provide inputs into cabinet memoranda and support coordination of relevant inter-Ministerial committee processes. Provide ongoing mentoring and management support to graduate interns through a self-initiated Young Professional Forum.

Participated in SACU high-level member state engagements (actively shaping the financial management, corporate governance, and integrity of the SACU Secretariat). Coordinate the payment of all funds due to SACU and CMA countries. Assist in negotiations within SACU and bilaterally with SACU countries. Notable projects include preparing memorandums, briefing notes, country positions, presentations, and economic reports, analysing economic and trade data, and understanding the SACU formula.

Assist in managing the Treasury's relations with stakeholders in COGTA, including fiscal and financial advice, evaluation of policy proposals and spending plans, policy development and project advice and monitoring of expenditure and service delivery trends. Notable projects include financing and budget support, monitoring of financial management, expenditure, and service delivery, policy analysis and support, assist with preparing budget publications, analyse adjusted estimate submissions and prepare expenditure reports.

Undergraduate tutoring of first year BCom students at the University of Pretoria enrolled for first year economics. Tutoring involved one-on-on engagements with students as well as marking semester tests.
