Partner in the Assurance Practice in Atlanta with 23 years serving a variety of private and public clients in the real estate, hospitality, and construction industries. I have considerable experience with real estate accounting for both public and private clients under various forms of reporting requirement including historical cost U.S. GAAP and IFRS, U.S. federal tax basis, and fair value reporting under the AICPA Investment Company Guide or under industry guidance such as NCREIF. I have been involved with a number of special advisory services for real estate clients including agreed-upon procedures, debt and equity offerings, comfort letters, due diligence, acquisition audits, public to private transactions and implementation of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. I have a B.S. in Finance, Management and Marketing from the University of Kentucky and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. I am a CPA licensed in Georgia.
