Clint Lewis has over 30 years of experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical and agriculture sectors having previously held senior executive positions across human health, animal health, and agribusiness at Pfizer, Zoetis and currently AgroFresh. He has worked and resided both in the U.S. and in Europe with extensive international travel. Clint is currently the CEO and member of the Board of Directors at AgroFresh, the global leader in the post harvest segment of the fresh fruit and produce industry. AgroFresh develops and distributes various products and services that enhance the quality and freshness of fruit and produce as it moves from farm to retail. The company helps its customers minimize food loss and waste and do so sustainably. Clint was also instrumental in recently transitioning AgroFresh from a pubic company to private with the backing of Paine Schwartz Partners, a PE firm strategically focused on global Agriculture and Ag Tech. Prior to joining AgroFresh, Clint was a senior executive and officer at Zoetis, Inc. (NYSE: ZTS), the largest animal health company in the world, Clint played a key role in the successful ‘spin out’ and IPO of the company out of Pfizer in 2013, helping to create over $40B in value creation over his tenure at the company. Clint served as both President of the US and President of International Operations. Prior to the formation of Zoetis, Clint spent 25 years in senior commercial and general management roles of increasing responsibility at Pfizer, Inc. across both human and animal health.Clint currently serves a member of the Board of Directors for International Paper (NYSE: IP), United Veterinary Care (a PE backed portfolio company of Nordic Capital) and Targan (a venture backed startup focused on automation in the poultry sector). He previously served on other PE backed portfolio company boards with Apollo (Covis) and Welsh Carson Anderson and Stowe (MMIT)
