I have a solid background in workplace Quality, Safety and Risk Management, can bring over 20 years’ Theoretical and practical experience in creating and implementing SHERQ (Safety Health Environmental Risk and Quality) and QMS (Quality Management System) procedures to the position. Just passed my Six Sigma Yellow Belt busy with Green BeltI endeavour to keep abreast of the latest standards in workplace safety and have completed a number of relevant courses to this end, including Assessor in training of these courses. In addition to my formal qualifications, I have extensive experience producing, executing and maintaining policies and procedures (ISO 9001:2015 UKAS Standard) to maintain Quality in the workplace. My experience in preparing Risk Methodologies, Safe Work Method Statements and Site Standard Operating Procedures demonstrates my ability to marry an organisation’s internal processes and procedures with legislative obligations. I am highly valued for my outstanding communication skills and achieved the Golden awards for safety from Eskom and my ability to manage relationships with colleagues with positivity and professionalism. Following my appointment as designated Safety, Quality and Training manager, the scope of my position was broadened, leading me to take responsibility for training new recruits and running refresher courses for current employees. I am passionate about workplace safety, well-being of all employees, company quality standards and given the opportunity, I would apply myself with energy and enthusiasm to any position. I believe I could make a valuable contribution to any team.
