Assisted Executive Director secure $100,000 grant from MasterCard to pilot the first recognized Live/ Work home for Habitat for Humanity International. Created and implemented program criteria for Live/ Work pilot program and produced monthly progress reports to MasterCard. Improved relationships between Habitat for Humanity, community members, local non-profit organization, and local government, by forming a The Newburgh Housing Coalition. The coalition met bi-monthly with the Newburgh Planning Department to help construct and update the city’s housing plan. Managed small home repair program, A Brush With Kindness (ABWK), and improved program criteria to increase productivity. Effectively managed a $55,000 yearly budget for community outreach and program development. Project managed 13 home repairs within the city of Newburgh, NY totaling $2,500 each and personally secured $35,500 for families that cannot afford home repairs.

Researched community needs and built relationships to help Habitat for Humanity provide better solutions for community needs. Assisted with administration to successfully construct a community plan and present it to the City of Waco. My daily activities were Marketing and Data Research (construct maps, report property values, and report community surveys).Created community campaign to improve street lighting in low-income community, “Light up the Carver”. Produced monthly presentations for community meetings about “Light Up the Carver” campaigns progress.Attended monthly community meetings to cultivate relationships and learn of future projects Habitat for Humanity can assist with. (Neighborhood Association Meetings, Local organization meetings, and Local government meetings).

Taught the Children’s Defense Fund reading curriculum, and constructed and taught daily lesson plans to youth ranging in ages from 12- 18 years old.Counseled and mentored 15 paroled youths on life skills, decision-making, and working with others.Facilitated and planned monthly meetings for Inspire Encourage Achieve children and families to reinforce the program's mission to support their goals and inspire them to achieve a better way of life. Secured $10,000 in grants from Walmart to help support program’s needs.
