Coordinated the Buffalo MPCV (Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle) Fabrication Line. Duties included supervising a team of 24 men and women in the build of the Buffalo vehicle. Ensured that quality and proficiency is maximized. Assist with Manufacturing Engineers to write and implement JES’s (Job Element Sheet). Coordinate with Planning for the purchase of materials to ensure parts availability for continuous work flow. Assisted the line to Fit and Weld parts to the vehicle to keep my team on schedule, Create Spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, Create a Matrix to better utilize workforce, Certified to operate Forklifts and Overhead Cranes. Performed various maintenance duties such as use a Multi Meter and other hand tools to wire Welding Machine for 480v power sources, replacing end connections on 120v-240v power cords and electrical hand tools, inspect/repair electrical hand tools, inspect/repair electrical outlets, rebuild air tools as needed, inspect/replace gas and air lines and various other duties as needed. Captain of the First Responder Team, Captain of the Safety Team, and a member of the Evacuation Team.
