Ensuring that workers are properly trained regarding company-specific and OSHA, safety requirements. Training responsibilities involve conducting safety orientations, daily "toolbox" safety meetings, periodic safety meetings and formal training sessions on a wide range of safety-related topics.Involved in maintaining and communicating safety-related policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that they are followed.Involved in ensuring that proper practices are observed on the workplace. They frequently perform safety inspections in locations including job sites, offices and company vehicles.When accidents, injuries or illnesses occur in the workplace, it is important to determine the cause so that such problems can be prevented in the future.Ensure that workers have proper safety credentials and ensure the company is in compliance with all safety-related regulatory requirements.

Meet with all crafts on site, to determine scaffold needs, figure and order material and manpower needed to address the scaffolding needs in a safe and timely manner, direct crews, assist as needed in erecting scaffolds, conduct safety meetings, write and review, job safety analysis with crew, daily, log man hours, coordinate crew change, and communicate with office as needed via e-mail, phone and, fax while offshore or on land.

• Provide constructive input on proposals prior to submittal. Managed scaffolding support for 30 platforms offshore, both manned & unmanned, performed JSA Audits & Job Site Audits, touch bases with the Foremen & Team Leaders to assure that projects are planned properly & that tasks are performed safely & efficiently. Evaluate team members & affirm that policies are being followed. Meet with customer to insure that the customer’s needs are being met & address any issues that the customer may have. Attend weekly planning meeting with all Craft Representatives in the area to confirm job scope for the upcoming week.
