Initially employed as an Estimator, was then promoted to the role of National Demand Planning and Inventory Control Manager and tasked to oversee the planning and tracking of ~27,000 monthly product units and ~250 SKUs across nine warehouses based in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. During my tenure, I have overhauled and digitised the demand planning process, and developed automated scheduling and stock control processes that have practically eliminated job delays and optimised supply chain profitability.♦ Introduced supply chain transparency and accountability, developing a data analytics package in MS Power Query;♦ Optimised schedule forecasting processes, enabling the accurate scheduling of national jobs, months in advance;♦ Reduced labour requirements by avg. three hours per day, creating a digital system incorporating a reporting suite;♦ Minimised accounting labour costs and enhanced accuracy, automating the stocktake process;♦ Expedited job completion timeframes, implementing an automated stock forecasting and ordering system;♦ Promoted a culture of cross-functional collaboration via communication systems and automated task events.

Joining the company upon its inception, I built the estimating department from ground up, designing and embedding all estimating processes, systems, materials databases, measurement procedures, pricing, measures and metrics required to support sales, production, and variations functions. Another key focus was establishing partnerships with key suppliers and subcontractors, and the negotiation of fair labour and supply rates that enabled the business to grow exponentially, drastically increasing construction capacity.♦ Improved sales processes, simplifying user access to display pricing and specifications;♦ Built and nurtured positive and professional customer relationships with prospects;♦ Generated an additional $1m in annual profits via the launch of a new investment housing product;♦ Enhanced strategic decision making, co-designing data analytics to monitor profitability;♦ Elevated accounting processes, creating invoice investigation and communications procedure.

In this change leadership role, I redesigned the company's outdated estimating systems, creating a robust operating model that went on to effectively served the needs of a major 500+ home per year builder. During my tenure, I also led a complex investigation into entrenched subcontractor and supplier overcharging, and eliminated this by implementing checks and balances that ensured construction supervisors did not sacrifice cost savings for expediency.
