- Primary and secondary school consultation- Provided appropriate speech, language and fluency intervention for pre-primary, primary and secondary aged 4-18 years. These interventions have targeted varying difficulties (e.g. intellectual disability, developmental language disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental delay, autism) and backgrounds (e.g. English as an Additional Language, low socioeconomic status). - One-on-one, group and consultative service delivery models adopted- Supervision of aide conducting Speech Pathology Aides (SPAIDES) and language groups informed by Language Support Program (LSP)- Co-supervision of Master of Speech Pathology student- Mentor in Speech Pathology Australia mentoring program- Liaising, developing rapport, and conducting both face-to-face and phone interviews with clients, parents, principals, teachers, aides and other treatment providers- Utilised all assessments relevant for Program for Students with Disabilities funding, along with supplementary assessments such as narrative assessments (e.g. Peter and the Cat), reading assessments (e.g. YARC, Neale) etc. - Prepared written reports of diagnostic test results and recommendations, and funding reports- Provided consultation to teachers in creating effective strategies for those students in need- Provided information for teachers to aid the referral and prioritisation process- Participation in Departmental-directed supervision- Adhering to Departmental policies and regulations.
