With over 25 years of experience in operations, construction management and project control, I am a dedicated, results-oriented leader who oversees multiple crews and projects in challenging and remote environments. As the Operations Manager at B2Gold - Nunavut, I support the team at Goose Lake and Marine Landing barge offloading facility, as well as our 165km Winter Road exclusive to B2 Nunavut. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and ensuring compliance with government agencies and mining regulatory commissions, such as WSCC and Ministry of Transportation BC and Alberta. I also have a strong knowledge of sensitive environmental requirements and best practices. Likewise, I have a wide range of skills in mine construction and operations, reporting documentation, QAQC submittals, facilities, multi-plate bridge, high traffic road re-construction with blasting operations, maintenance scheduling, project and operational budgeting, and planned shutdown repairs. Furthermore, proficient in managing projects, including cost awareness, scheduling, and coordination with owner’s representatives, while maintaining a good working relationship with all aspects of open pit mining and heavy civil projects, including marine operations, major highways, and airstrip projects.
