I love a good challenge. Whether helping define the first generation of the “cloud,” fueling the growth of mobile apps, building a company, helping transform a $17B software product into a cloud service or chasing a new PR (personal record) – my life and career are defined by seeking out and tackling big challenges. Over more than 15 years, I’ve helped companies build brands, create products, grow revenues, transform businesses and connect with customers. Sometimes the customers are CXOs. Sometimes they are IT pros. Sometimes they are consumers. Regardless, my passion lies in finding the right offerings, strategies and stories that reach these customers in meaningful, authentic ways and connect them with the brand – whether that’s through product management, PR, social media or other marketing disciplines. I’m a numbers-loving marketer who relishes the opportunity to dig in and turn data-driven insights into actionable strategies that move the business forward. I’m a builder – of teams, products, programs, stories and strategies – who loves to create things from scratch and revitalize things gone fallow. I have built and led successful teams - filled with some pretty darn amazing people - ranging in size from a feisty few to more than twenty, with budgets both big and small. I believe in working hard and having some fun along the way. I think the people we surround ourselves with are more important than the kind of work we do, and ultimately, I believe the challenges we choose are what define us.
