I was Engaged as a Programme Director to transform both cybersecurity, cloud and Infrastructure across the globe through 3 programmes totalling 35+ projects. During this contract I built out a large core delivery team of 30+ SME resources and implemented global project delivery structures and methodologies, a PMO and executive reporting and stakeholder governance. Created close collaboration between Technology and Business teams to drive effective and sustainable technology solutions. Succeeded in delivering transformative change across the entire global business. Harmonising technology platforms and services and implementing high quality, matured and globalised Cyber Security and Ransomware solutions and operational capabilities in alignment with developed strategy and industry frameworks NIST CSF and CIS20. Notable highlights include:- Implemented global project delivery governance, methodologies and processes. Drove apportion, alignment, standards and reporting across global delivery for the entire organisation. - Advised on strategy and Implemented PMO, programme and project governance within 2 weeks of contract commencement to establish sponsorship of projects for decision making, governance and control. Including project delivery frameworks to ensure effective governance and control across all programme and project levels. - Built core delivery methodologies, structures, governance and teams of subject matter experts to support programme and project delivery within a few months of contract commencement.

Proven delivery success within structured and un-structured business critical environments for blue-chip organisations such as Hiscox, Bupa, Legal & General, Penguin Books, NBC television, Universal Pictures, Sapient Nitro, Coca-Cola, Manpower, Orange, ASB Bank and GE finance. Also including Datacentre’s and global delivery expertise working in the UK, USA, EMEA, China, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand across a variety of sectors including Publishing, Media, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Retail, Gambling, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Governments. Expertise with an array of project methodologies, including Prince 2, Waterfall, Agile and budgets in excess of £15m GBP.

I was engaged as Programme Manager with ownership for directing and coordinating the end to end delivery of a business-critical programme in line with company objectives, timelines and budgets. Most notably, I spearheaded driving efficiency through outsourcing traditional on-premise technologies, Cloud, infrastructure and DevOps to drive efficiency and programme execution for a £15m programme of works. In addition, I recommended and instilled 24/7 Cloud & Infrastructure support coverage across the global organisation. Including the direction and overall responsibility of both onshore & off-shore delivery teams.

During this contract, I oversaw delivery of a major Cyber and Information Security programme with ownership for scoping, project structuring, funding, resource management, communications, training, education and end to end planning. In addition, I managed a CEO and CIO sponsored programme to develop an information security strategy, architecture, ISMS design to support business strategy, and drive change and compliance throughout the business.Notable highlights include:  Directing a CRO sponsored project to design, develop and implement risk management frameworks and governance to enhance visibility and control over IT/IS business risks. Designed and developed a Policy and Standards suite as part of business-critical Information and Cyber Security change programme to an aggressive timeline of less than 3-months and 20% under budget.

I was engaged as Programme Manager to oversee delivery of information security and regulatory projects and develop analytical systems. I established and managed boards for transformation programme governance, managed £15m funding, budgeting, risks and issues, success criteria, benefit realisation, vision and business case, led cross-functional teams of PMs, Actuaries, BAs, Lead Developers and BAU resources and led delivery of analytical systems including Ab Initio, ALGO, Prophet for Asset, Liability and MI data.Notable highlights include:  Recovering a failing GDPR project by improving discovery phase coverage by 100% which subsequently led to the identification of lawful and non-lawful data processing. Leading large scale, business critical transformation programmes to enhance financial reporting, operations and asset & liability MI for SII and IFRS.

I was subsequently engaged as Consultant / Programme Manager to design and deliver a company-wide Cyber Resilience Discovery and BIA Assessment phase to identify critical assets, business continuity and resilience risks and issues. I worked closely with the CISO to develop a robust Information and Cyber Security strategy, roadmaps and budgets to deliver cyber resilience improvements through a £10m programme and additionally provided advice regarding operations and services, delivery, IT strategy and change management to enhance the organisation’s IT and information security maturity.Notable highlights include:  Delivering a transformation programme to enhance information and cyber security. The programme involved ISMS, Policies & Standards, Role Based Access Control, DLP, IPDS, AWS Security, Patch Management Frameworks, Vulnerability Scanning, Zscaler Web Filtering, Mimecast and Network Access Control. Overseeing and coordinating delivery of business-critical cyber security and information security projects including Firewall Intrusion Protection and Detection (IPDS) which blocked over 40k threats per day. Increasing compliance with ISO 27001 by an average of over 300% in 9 months through introducing security change governance processes.

During this period, I oversaw and coordinated a transformation programme team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs and BAU staff to merge systems and transition services for 8 offices across 7 countries. In addition, I managed relationships with 3rd party suppliers including telecommunications companies and internal resources to meet aggressive timelines for the transition of global network services – delivered within just 9 months.Notable highlights include:  Developing and monitoring project KPIs, success criteria and quality assurance strategies. Securing 2 contract renewals for successful delivery of infrastructure and support transformation initiatives including the exit of global service agreements worth over £10m within a 12-month timeline. Leading the development of global strategies to transform and enhance organisational performance and cultural change ensuring international portfolios remained on track (budget £1.5m+).

I was engaged on a contract basis to manage business cases, funding acquisition and budgets, programme board management, executive reporting and recruitment. I was primarily accountable for overseeing and coordinating global projects (excluding the US) and provided leadership to 5 direct report Project Managers and up to 200 additional resources on a per project basis. Notable highlights include:  Delivering business-critical security programmes and projects including Enterprise Symantec Antivirus solutions and building physical security for several sites. Leading the end to end delivery of a business-critical large scale, 7-month office relocation and Datacentre build out/relocation programme (£2m budget with 100 resources). Spearheading delivery of a £1m Datacentre in Singapore to drive productivity and growth of the APAC region. Reducing hardware costs by 15% through vendor negotiation and logistics management.

• Responsible for full lifecycle development of Quality Risk Profile compliance-monitoring Oracle Business Intelligence solution. Used by 900 inspectors to monitor and regulate 30,000 healthcare providers. Total budget for this project was in excess of £1.5m. • Managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver infrastructure projects. Included a wide range of projects from server consolidations to new virtualised SharePoint environments. Increased adherence to scope, time and costs by over 20%.

• Delivered a range for complex programmes involving infrastructure, networks, services and EUC technologies to a variety of national & multi-national blue chips organisations.• Full Profit & Loss responsibility for delivering programmes of high priority business critical projects. Consistently met or exceeded client expectations and profit targets. • Analysed, scoped, created, led and secured project request for proposals and business cases with 80% success rate (Valued between 10K and 30M).
