Clive Adams is an Associate Director of Arthur D. Little’s Risk Practice based in Cambridge. His work focusses on assurance of safety-critical systems and products. With a background in system engineering, he has 20 years of experience in a variety of sectors. His most recent experience is focused in the rail sector where he has worked for a wide variety of both metro and mainline operators and suppliers in Europe, Asia and America. His work has included independent safety assessment, safety management systems’ review, safety and project risk assessment. He holds both DPhil and BEng (Hons.) degrees in Computer Science from the University of York. As a Member of both the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Safety and Reliability Society, he is a Chartered Engineer
