Now returned to UK after many years in Tanzania. FCA (UK),NBAA(Tanzania) also entrepreneur involved in construction of larger (up to 100,000litre) water storage tanks and rain water collection - new solar lighting for Tanzanians who have no light in their homes and schools. Involved in Training For Life - a life skills program for senior high school leavers (A level)in Tanzania. Major breakthrough of Alumni (ex course members since 1996) who will contribute 20% of course costs in 2013! Is this a first for Tanzania? In 2016 started a TFL course for Form 4 leavers (year 10) which is modelled on the A level course but with more practical subjects introduced. Helped to develop an entrepreneur section which allows students to understand the impact of starting your own business and how this could become a reality, as jobs in the formal sector become more scarce.Since 2018 have handed the running of Training For Life over to Alumni who have been trained to manage the Programme. In late 2019 "retired" back to UK. Continue to keep in touch with Alumni and the ongoing programmes.
