As Chief of Party I led setting up Counterpart's operation in Zambia and our ongoing engagement with USAID in Zambia for this cooperative agreement. I also provided overall leadership to Counterpart International in Zambia.

I also led engagement with the GoM Department of Mining and in collaboration with them, World Bank, UNDP and FHM Bank organized a symposium on Artisanal and Small Scale Mining in 2014 with around 200 delegates from artisanal miners, government, donors, the private sector, and civil society.

I also played an important role in the overall leadership of WVUK's international programmes division as well as being a member of the WVUK leadership forum. From 2008 as the work of the unit expanded my leadership position of the Unit became a full time role. I recruited and handed over my HIV & AIDS responsibilities to a new advisor though I maintained a strong interest in that sector.
