Led the inception phase of a new DFID funded social accountability programme in partnership with the Ministry of Health in Zambia to strengthen the delivery and accountability of health services.

Chief of Party for a USAID funded program in Zambia titled Fostering Accountability and Transparency (FACT). This governance program focused on enhancing the enabling environment for Civil Society and citizens to demand for greater accountability and transparency in the delivery of services in Health, HIV/AIDS, Education, Sustainable Livelihoods and Environment. As Chief of Party I provided leadership both in terms of program management and technical expertise. The program utilized Social Accountability tools to generate evidence and a mechanism for citizens to demand improvements in the delivery of services. As Chief of Party I led setting up Counterpart's operation in Zambia and our ongoing engagement with USAID in Zambia for this cooperative agreement. I also provided overall leadership to Counterpart International in Zambia.

Lilongwe Malawi

Gave leadership to Pact's work in Malawi building local promise through programs that built the capacity of local organisations, and networks. Won significant new business for Pact with a lifetime value of over US$ 15 million, including a new 5 year cooperative agreement with USAID focused on the governance and management of fisheries in the southern area of Lake Malawi, Lake Chirwa and Lake Chiuta. I also oversaw the implementation of a program responding to HIV/AIDS through the dissemination of Behaviour Change Communication and strengthening coordination and collaboration between Civil Society Organisation and government structures at District level. I also led engagement with the GoM Department of Mining and in collaboration with them, World Bank, UNDP and FHM Bank organized a symposium on Artisanal and Small Scale Mining in 2014 with around 200 delegates from artisanal miners, government, donors, the private sector, and civil society.

Led a team of sectoral specialists in providing technical support to World Vision's decvelopment programmes across 11 countries in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Central Asia. Key Responsibilities:- Headed and built a team of Technical Specialists developing and implementing programme strategies, learning and resources in Health, HIV, Child Protection, DME, and Community Mobilisation.- Member of the Integrated Programme Team developing integrated approaches with Advocacy, and Humanitarian Emergency Response teams.- Overview and strategic direction in relation to sectors and Development programming approaches- Provided technical support and strategic insights to World Vision National Offices in Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Lebanon, and Pakistan among others.Key Achievements:- Strengthened the team, inspiring team members to achieve and exceed personal goals and team objectives- Increased the focus on issues of equity particularly in relation to Most Vulnerable Children, and Gender- Several multi million $ Regional Proposals funded in Education, Gender, Local Level Advocacy, HIV/AIDS- Documented learning and made recommendations to resolve an EU funded WASH project in Pakistan that had under performed.- Built collaborative relationships between different lines of ministry, particularly strengthening integration of advocacy and programming- Quickly gained understanding of a new region - Brokered resolutions to conflicts between funding and implementing offices

While in the position of Senior HIV & AIDS Advisor I concurrently took leadership of the technical support unit which consisted of various technical advisors in sectors such as Economic Development, Civil Society, Health, Disability as well as HIV & AIDS. The Unit played a critical role in winning WVUK's first PPA from DFID and led in the successful implementation of the PPA. The unit also developed ground breaking innovations and strategic direction to World Vision's disability, social accountability and OVC programming resulting in significant changes in how WV's goes about it work at a global level. As head of the Technical Support Unit I led and managed a team of world leaders in their technical fields. I also played an important role in the overall leadership of WVUK's international programmes division as well as being a member of the WVUK leadership forum. From 2008 as the work of the unit expanded my leadership position of the Unit became a full time role. I recruited and handed over my HIV & AIDS responsibilities to a new advisor though I maintained a strong interest in that sector.
