About Clive Boardman

Clive is an experienced 3D metric data specialist with over 30 years in the profession and was, until 2012, the MD of Photarc Surveys. He began his career as a photogrammetrist and became Managing Director in 2006. He has been an external examiner for geomatics at the University of Newcastle, lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania (Historic Preservation) from 2003 to 2005 and council member of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc). Clients for survey and consultancy have included the Getty Conservation Institute (Mayan site, Copan, Honduras), Messbildstelle (Reichstag, Berlin), English Heritage (Lindisfarne Priory, Fountains Abbey), Cadw (Harlech, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Conway castles), Historic Scotland (Stirling Castle) amongst others. Clients for aerial survey have included Ordnance Survey GB and the UK MOD..
