Been in telecoms for over 35 years.Many years experience in the rail,mobile,broadcast industry.Work on many big projects in the pass,including the channel tunnel where I spent a bit of my time in France working.Work on many catv companies as a copper jointer,from Mux’s to Nodes.In the mobile industry I have a wide range from microwave,transmission,PPM,building towers,LOS,broadcast,rigging etc.Carried out supervision in the mobile industry,where you have to check certs,Rams etc,and on London Underground with third party contractors,making sure they are working to method statements,sow etc.On the rail I’m trained on network rail and London Underground.Work on the Radio network on the underground from new build works to fault finding.Also Eltek IP systems,transmission.Also other basic comms work,such as pulling in copper,fibre etc and other things.Also while working on the Eltek system I work with the project engineer daily to make sure things ran smooth each night,to make sure job gets done,also kept a close eye on materials/Stock and ordering for 2 teams to keep project running smoothly.Necessary paperwork sent in daily so company would be paid on time.
