Some of my responsibilities for Ionbond include: -• Technical support for the service coating centre located in Consett UK providing advice on coating selection, fixture design and implementation, assistance on process related aspects of the quality system and failure analysis.• Development of new applications for PVD and PACVD coatings.• Development of new coatings deposited by PVD and PACVD technologies.• Implementation of R&D projects both small scale and also as part of large European funded ones.• Maintenance and improvement of Labview based automation software for process control of PVD coating equipment, employing either direct hardware controlled or PLC interfaced technologies, designed and built by Ionbond.
