This includes customer trading terms, setting and managing growth targets and rewards, developing and implementing customer group promotions and acting as the interface between product management and the customer by deploying new product launches. Key skills for this role include strategic planning, marketing, finance, presentation techniques and IT (SAP based operating system, Excel etc.) The role also includes the management of a number of national buying groups and key independent distributors.Achievements to date• Trade and cost price repositioning to reflect true market position for the various product ranges.• Design and implement simplified trading terms to drive growth through the Electrical Wholesale market.• Review and redefine approach to market moving towards a more ‘open wholesale’ approach while retaining focus on the supporting stockists.• Key Account management – year on year sales increase through buying groups.
