Intrumentation:- Beta Testing, Instrument selection, Installation, Calibration, Trobleshooting/Maintenance, Audit, Gauge capability testing and Training of junior Technicians and Engineers. Work with the Planners and Reliability groups to develop appropriate preventative maintenance schedules, and to identify & improve worst actor performance. Review base control loop performance on a regular basis and make recommendations in order to maintain an agreed level of performance or optimize performance. Monitor the performance of all field instruments in providing recommendations to fully utilize the scarce resources to provide optimum process and business results. System design.Automation/Controls:- Configure input/output points and regulatory controllers on DCS system. Trouble-shoot and correct controller and distributive control system errors. Give technicanl instrumentation/controls support Process Control Engineers. Train E/I technicians and Engineers, as part of the Train-the-Trainer program, on distributive control systems maintenance and trouble-shooting, understanding and configuration of controlpoints and schemes.
