I invest in and mentor businesses in marketing services.Having built and sold marketing services group Marketing Drive I felt that it was time to invest back the capital and expertise in supporting other businesses in the marketing services industry and work with them to grow the business - sharing the risk and goals of the management. Range of interests include:1) Founder/Director of Alliance of Independent Agencies following the MAA went into Administration in 2018. Since then the Alliance has championed and supported the Independent Agency Community and now the Alliance has over 100 agencies in its community.2) Global Musicals - I have always had interest in musical theatre and in 2017 was a founder investor/director of Global Musicals initially to produce SIX the musical - now a global hit and Global are now working on future new productions - particularly 42 Balloons that opens April 2024. 3) Founder investor in Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw - direct marketing agency - sold to Publicis Groupe in 20114) Pulse Group - working at the heart of live experiences whether through designing and running worldwide exhibition programmes or creating engaging expereinces around major sport events . 5) MarketingMentor.net - for on line training/information6) Mtivity - workflow management software developer.....and finally I do not do it all for money as I was Chairman of The Institute of Promotional Marketing for 4 years, having for 4 years prior to that been Chairman of the Code of Advertising Practices Sales Promotion & Direct Response Panel. As part of my role at The IPM I sat on the Council of The Advertising Association and in my role as Chairman of the CAP Panel sat on the Committee for The Code of Advertising Practice.
