To compliment an existing mail order service I set up an E Commerce site based on a specific design brief, a comprehensive site manual and training schedule was devised enabling other colleagues to administer the site on my behalf. Reporting directly to the Managing Director with monthly sales reports and financial figures, I have been able to converse technical jargon in a non technical language. During my time I have been involved with marketing campaigns throughout the company, I have also been involved with management of the company and resolving staff issues.

Sole responsibility for all IT and Telecoms for Avondale and 5 other companies based at Fort Horsted Business Centre. Specified, configured and installed new company server, then moved to new server room, also created and implemented IT disaster recovery plan. Employed an external agency to create new company website, then worked with them to develop site. Reason for leaving, redundancy.I created and manned an internal IT Helpdesk. Assisted the IT Manager with project design and implementation including: new Symantec AV server; Ghosting of all servers and design of dual located exchange server network.

Having initially been recruited as a trainee I was continually promoted achieving Senior Service Engineer. My day to day tasks included: server installation and setup with continued monitoring and configuration; general trouble shooting; workstation installation; associated cabling work and training junior engineers.During the last four months of my employment with Business Computer Solutions, I worked as chief IT support for Kent International Airport. The job involved: creating and undertaking daily checks / tasks; manning IT helpdesk and responding to calls including prioritising of support calls and continued support of servers and workstations.
