I was responsible for all sales, operations and finance for an autonomous region incorporating over sixty operational sites including asphalt plants, ready mix concrete plants, quarries and wharves providing construction materials and building products across Wales, south Midlands, London and the South. The region had a combined turnover of 130m and employed 330 employees.

This was an Interim role aimed at increasing the company’s market value over an eighteen month period in order to maximise its sale price. The parent company, Andrews Sykes plc, was keen to divest but had not received an appropriate level of offer at the time I was recruited.
