The work that Blue Skies Consultancy Group undertakes has been carried out in over 32 countries around the world, varying from specific focused workshops through to longer term “coaching” programmes of both selected private sectors companies as well as public stakeholders. The majority of this work has been carried out in Africa, Asia and Latin America. More in depth, commercially focused projects have also been carried out in Australia, USA, Canada and many other “developed” tourism countries in regions of the world.The consultants that are the core team inside of Blue Skies Consultancy Group have over 180 years of tourism experience with cross sector experience and higher management responsibilities. Many have both private and public sector experience with the national tourism boards of various countries relating to engagement and strategy. Being competitive beasts the question was and always will be” who is the fastest?”. Nowadays with modern timing equipment, media coverage and the World Wide Web bringing this spectacle of Man against the elements to the audience is much easier and exiting.With the world speed sailing record currently standing at 55.65 knots, over 100 kilometres per hour. This is not a sport for passive participants, the riders in this arena know they are pushing themselves and their equipment beyond what it was designed for in the pure quest for speed.
