The Business Growth Service provides expert, tailored and on-going support to businesses in England with the potential to improve and grow. The service will help businesses across a wide variety of sectors get the advice they need to achieve their business goals.The Business Growth Service consolidates GrowthAccelerator and the Manufacturing Advisory Service and schemes from the Intellectual Property Office (IP Audits) and the Design Council (Design Mentoring) into a single service. Export support is provided by UKTI and UKEF. The service is closely linked to Innovate UK and the British Business Bank.My role is to ensure that businesses with true growth potential in London and South England benefit from SME Growth Support and that it delivers bespoke solutions to support a company to reach its full growth potential.Specific activities include:· Working with Innovate UK award winners to understand their growth potential· Agreeing their participation in GrowthAccelerator if they can demonstrate true growth potential· Co-developing a work package with them that will overcome key growth barriers· Selecting & introducing the most appropriate expert coach to deliver this work package· Monitoring service delivery and ensuring it is of the highest quality· Enabling clients to maximise the benefits GrowthAccelerator offers· Ensuring connectivity for businesses - bringing in other relevant expertise where required· Identifying follow on work necessary to continue the company’s growthIf you are from a small or medium-sized company in England and are interested in becoming part of the Business Growth Service please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
