In my role of Shift Leader at Unisys I was responsible for the daily running of a busy computer bureau, dealing over the phone with a number of customers, operating a range of midi and mainframe computer systems and the training of junior members of staff.Working in a bureau environment meant there were daily, weekly and monthly deadlines to meet, the role was also on a contract basis so 12 and 13 hour days were a common occurrence.
