Implement online booking solution for container shipping with market-leading vendors (2022-23):- Install customer booking GUI and backend components including rate engine and TMS integrations- Develop procedures, terms and conditions for online booking- Perform training to all Greater China and Vietnam officesLead the team to collaborate with a VC-funded tech startup, to test online booking products and develop processes in cross-country projects (2020-22):- Develop pre-booking process from scratch and effectively manage inventory with 2,000+ containers per month during peak season across Greater China and South East Asia regions.- Setup central / regional booking desk in Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City, and create 4 integrated region-specific processes to streamline operation flows within 2 weeks.Collaborate with attorney in the U.S. and draft legal paperwork:- Serve as an Asia liaison to work with the U.S. attorney about all legal papers including, company and license registration, FMC and U.S. regulations compliance, and bill of lading draft that applies International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS).- Complete 4 membership agreements, 1 power of attorney, and 1 NDA, which help shippers’ associations hitting record high on numbers of membership (increase from 300 to 500+ members during year 2018-2019).Lead automation & digitalization team to provide suitable ERP solutions which can distribute shipment data electronically across different systems.Establish operation process statements from customer signup, filing, quotation, to customer service to ensure operation quality which save time and minimize communication gap.
