Teacher of A Level Media Studies and Level 3 Media & Design. I am the Lead Internal Verifier for all UAL courses in the centre.I am an E-Learning Champion, developing digital learning strategies across the college and was recruited by the Sixth Form Colleges Association to be a member of the national EdTech Innovation Group in a similar capacity. I research digital learning solutions for the 16-19 education sector.

I set up Sonic Boom as a media production business specialising in co-branded content. I work on contracts for advertising and content creation for national and local media agencies. Sonic Boom’s client list is made up of over 200 national brands and record labels, producing promotional content and audio packages for multiple platforms. I contract in external media producers where specialist skills are required.

Responsible for the curriculum design of a variety business courses at the centre, working to a 90% timetable with additional pastoral responsibilities for two tutor groups. Building local links to businesses.

Working for one day per week with Global's Strategy & Development team in a consultation role. Taking projects from initial ideas based on strategic marketing research and macro-economic analysis into viable business models.

Responsible for the creating the sound of the newly acquired Smooth Radio Brand including Smooth Radio, Smooth Extra and Smooth Christmas. Positioning Smooth as a national brand alongside competing radio stations, intergrated into the Global portfolio and associated systems. This comprised working with a team of of 50+ local producers and executives to bring the Smooth Radio project to air. Also responsible for maintaining the ongoing position of Classic FM through on-air and off-air branding and designing strategic solutions for the biggest budget clients in Global's portfolio.

Reporting into the CEO, I lead a team across 12 regional radio stations across the UK and Channel Islands, regularly working to a hybrid model, travelling nationally. Responsible for re-positioning each of the 12 radio stations and designing a profitable commercial business. Took the business from a going-concern to a stable profitable business and respected set of commercial radio stations with strategic partnerships before a successful takeover bid in 2013.

With a business head office based in Bristol, I was the sole London based employee within my team responsible for working with London based and national clients to design commercial solutions that deliver for marketing agencies as well as radio programming brands. Client contracts were in the £75k+ band per brief and I worked across Global's portfolio of national radio brands.

Working on a contract through GCap Media to produce the sound design and imaging for Ministry of Sound’s weekend radio shows, across a network of CHR Radio Stations.

Responsible for maintaining the sound of SGR FM & SGR Colchester and designing commercial partnerships for local and regional clients.
