Executive responsibility for leading Inceptua Pharma, part of the Inceptua Group. Responsible for delivering Inceptua’s commercialisation approach bringing both commercial and patient access experience and expertise to secure successful new product launches and maintenance of mature products. Focus on expanding the Pharma group portfolio via new asset evaluation, M&A and in-licensing activities. Proven track record of transfer of in-license assets from partners, implementation of Marketing Authorisation readiness and capability, commercialisation team planning and build out starting from minimal headcount to expanding global and affiliate teams.

Specialist in biotechnology and bioengineering working closely with industry via DTI funded Measurement for Emerging Technology (MET) programme. Scale up / out of commercial biopharmaceutical processes with focus on process optimisation via focused enzyme pathway metabolic engineering. Scale up of tissue engineered products (including stem cell lines). Application of non-invasive measurement technologies across growth platforms (microwell / tissue culture flask and pilot scale bioreactors) i.e. online sensor technology, antibody-based biomarkers and novel technology applications.Experience with new business development in line with Government biotech strategy developing new collaboration frame works. Involvement with the UK Government Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform providing support for new project development for emerging start-up companies.
