My passion for all things Nevada pushes me to educate, enlighten and assist people with all things Nevada as well as their financial lives. I got my degree in Journalism in hopes to share stories of Nevada and those who live here. At the end of my education, I discovered that it’s all about communication. If you can communicate well, you can do anything. This led me to my Assistant Store Manager role at Kohl's, a company I had already been working for during my time in school. My 4 years with the company I was able to develop my leadership skills, while also using my skills as a communicator to encourage associates to reach beyond the scope of their one job. Now I work for Greater Nevada Credit Union where as a communicator I help members with any financial needs they may have. Starting as a member service representative I learned the basics of helping them with daily transactions as well as finding products that best suit their lives. In my current role as a Branch Operations Specialist I still assist members with daily transactions, opening accounts but I also help the branch operate on a day-to-day basis. In this role I get to live two of my passions, I get to hear local stories and help people with their financial needs. I hope to continue to be an advocate for all things Nevada and people using my skills as a communicator.
