A Senior Healthcare Scientist Assistant at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in the QA Pharmacy Laboratory. In this time I have been gaining industry experience within the QA Pharmacy sector and completed the Aseptics Training Programme.Before joining the NHS Trust, I spent over 9 years as a Scientific Officer at Future Health Biobank, culminating in gaining a position in a senior scientist role where I developed and honed core practical skills and managed the day-to-day coordination of a small team of Scientitsts and Laboratory Assistants. I have also gained valuable industry experience in the NHS Haematology department in Pathology at the Royal Derby Hospital, as part of my Applied Biomedical Science honours degree from Nottingham Trent University.
